Q: I can’t find my school. Where can I find it?

A: You can find schools many ways, through county, individual schools, or you can view all listings.

Q: How do I sign up for the email newsletter?

A: It’s very simple. Just go to this link http://schoolclosed.com/closings/Subscriber.asp and fill in the boxes.

Q: Is there a way school closings can be sent to my pager?

A: Sure. At the bottom of the register page there is open field with the tile “SMS/Pager Address:” where you can put your pager information in.

Q: I know my school’s name but I don’t know where to find out if it’s closed.

A: Go here and type your school name in the field.

Q: I want to find out which schools are closed in a certain city.

A: Go here click on the drop down, select city, and type your city name in the field.

Q: I want to find out which schools are closed in a certain zip code.

A: Go here, click on the drop down, select zip code, and type your zip code in the field.

Q: I want to find out which schools are closed in a certain county.

A: Go here, click on the drop down, select county, and type your county in the field.

Q: Can I get this notice sent to my regular mail address?

A: No. Since a school closing can happen at a moment’s notice, notices need to be sent immediately, far sooner than regular mail can send.
